Principal's Message

   Greetings Rosecrans Elementary community! I 
am Aranzazu Garcia, and I am incredibly honored 
and excited to introduce myself as your new 
principal as we begin the 2025-2026 academic year. 
It is a privilege to join the Rosecrans Elementary 
School family, a community known for its 
dedication to excellence, inclusiveness, and fostering 
a love of learning.

   Throughout my 30+ years as an educator, I 
have served in various capacities, including 6-12 Foreign 
Language teacher for 5 years, elementary classroom teacher 
for 11 years, instructional coach, TOSA, Asst. Principal, and 
the K-12 English Learners Program coordinator for the 
Lynwood Unified School district for the last 6 years. Each of 
these experiences has shaped my commitment to ensuring 
all students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 
My leadership approach is rooted in student success through 
collaboration, and equity in an environment where every 
individual feels valued, supported, and inspired!

   As we move forward together, I am 
committed to continuing the strong 
traditions of Rosecrans Elementary while 
exploring opportunities for growth and 
innovation. My primary focus is to support 
our students in reaching their fullest 
potential by working collaboratively with 
our talented teachers, dedicated staff, and 
engaged families.

   Stepping into a new school and district, I 
understand the importance of listening 
and learning from each of you— our 
teachers, staff, parents, and students. 

   I want to thank you for welcoming me 
into this incredible community. Together, 
we will celebrate last year's 
accomplishments and build on those 
successes as we aim to make this year even 
more remarkable!
